The Detroit Lions are 4-1 to start the 2024 season. Detroit no doubt will have to make a move at the NFL Trade Deadline on November 5 or before then.
On Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, defensive end Aidan Hutchinson suffered a gruesome injury and will miss the remainder of the season. One of the players that they could trade for at the NFL trade deadline this year is Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby.
NFL Analyst Dan Orlovsky Thinks That the Detroit Lions Should Trade For Maxx Crosby
The Las Vegas Raiders traded Davante Adams earlier in the day to the New York Jets and it almost feels inevitable at this point that they would also trade Crosby. On Monday during NFL Live, Dan Orlovsky said:
“Detroit can’t waste this opportunity” to trade for Maxx Crosby.
Crosby this season with the Raiders has recorded 20 tackles and 5.5 sacks with the Las Vegas Raiders this season. He would be a major upgrade in the Detroit Lions pass-rushing department with Aidan Hutchinson sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Detroit has done very well for THEMSELVES. Think it’s fair to say this organization knows what they’re doing and have proven that throughout two seasons.
Just sayin— Reba (@Reba1776) October 14, 2024
As a Raiders fan, I wouldn’t care if the Raiders traded Maxx as long as we got something significant for him. We already let Josh Jacobs walk, Davante wants out, let Maxx go to Detroit which was his favorite NFL team before coming to the Raiders. 🤷♂️

Give the raiders 1st and 2nd if you get him for a 1st and 3rd great. But let’s be serious here.

It would be interesting to see what the Detroit Lions would give up if they were to trade for Maxx Crosby on the Las Vegas Raiders. If they don’t make a move for him or another pass rusher, it could potentially come back to bite them later in the season when they need a key stop in a playoff game.
