Detroit Lions Brawl At New York Giants Joint Practice
The jobs are very competitive. In a physical sport, things can get combative in a matter of moments. Anyone unfamiliar with Malik Nabers, coming into this he was arguably one of, if not the most dominant deep threat in all of college football last season. The numbers do the talking but through the film his speed and explosiveness were second to none compared to anyone in this entire draft class.
Versatility it is all we have seen from this guy first day of joint practices against the Detroit. Malik Cabers was targeted eight times throughout the course of live practice, and he came down with eight total receptions. Now, day number two, he currently has seven total receptions on seven targets.
The one deep ball that’s been trending all over social media was technically called incomplete by the sideline official.
I do love the Kirby Joseph response and Terion Arnold who seemingly set the tone for that fight the day before with him setting that edge him making a play. Hopefully, he you know he bows well for the Lions secondary this year. It was a great play. Especially, by a rookie, or just a cornerback who’s going to stick his nose in there and set the edge on an absolute Mammoth.
Malik Nabers thoughts on the scuffle:
The competitiveness me and Arnold… We talk we talk almost every day about just competing how great we want to be. So there’s nothing against him, he’s my brother. I’m going to give him the work he needs, he going to
give me the work I need. I was tapping him on the helmet, good play, that’s all. It was good and then you know somebody comes up running up to me, said a few words, and rest is rest is that.
Detroit vs New York: Giants Daniel Jones Gets in mix of Joint Practice
Every coach has to like the fact that they’re competitive enough and that they at least want to see you stand up for your teammates if one of your teammates get jacked gets jacked by other team.
NY Giants HC Brian Daboll was seen smiling , and seems to like his quarterback wants to mix it up a little bit. For accuser look at Daboll’s post-practice thought, click here!
This season is on the brink of starting and we have a bunch of football coming up these next Thursdays, Sundays, and throughout. I’m excited about it this makes me a little more excited about it with only 30 days left.

Lions vs Giants: Going Into Day 3
Practicing with the New York Giants, the way the first day went it looked like the Giants won in almost every category.
The Giants sentiment is this is our building – you’re not coming in here with a chip. A lot of Lions fans were in the house in East Rutherford. The New York Giants with the attitude that no one is not coming in, going to do your grit thing, your feel good story, and your teary eyes. Not in our building, not in this heat, not on this field; As a competitor, it’s hard not to respect.
The Detroit Lions coming off 12-5 season, making the NFC championship game, being a quarter away from the Super Bowl. This is a legitimate team. Their future is set. They have a good GM and great coaches. They’ve got a really nice roster, a really good quarterback. People know the lions are legit!
