Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson recently got married, and one of the Browns’ majority owners was spotted at the grand party he threw following his wedding day.

Deshain Watson recently got married, and social media took notice of one key personality that was spotted during his lavish after-wedding party. During the celebration, Browns majority owner and billionaire Jimmy Haslam was spotted amongst the guest.
Watson’s guest roster also included past and present NFL stars, including Jerry Jeudy, DeAndre Hopkins, and Jason Dobbs.
What made the appearance of Haslam controversial was this happened shortly after he went public and commented that the franchise’s acquisition of Watson fell short of expectations and has been underwhelming.
“We took a big swing-and-miss with Deshaun,” Haslam told reporters back then. “We thought we had the quarterback; we didn’t. And we gave up a lot of draft picks to get him, so we’ve got to dig ourselves out of that hole. [The trade] was an entire organization decision, and it ends with Dee [Haslam] and I, so hold us accountable.”

Deshaun Watson arrived at the Browns in what analysts and fans consider to be one of the biggest quarterback trades in the history of the NFL. Houston sent Watson to the Browns and a 2024 sixth-round pick, in exchange for multiple draft picks from the Browns.
Immediately after the trade, Watson was given by the Browns a $230 million fully guaranteed contract, which was the biggest guaranteed contract within the NFL at the time, despite his debut getting delayed for 11 games due to a conduct policy suspension.

Anais stunned during the wedding with a bespoke white gown and minimal embellishments, while Watson went minimalist and wore a classic black tuxedo. The newlyweds also showcased their diamond-studded wedding bands. Anais wore a 36-carat ring while Watson had a 34-carat one.

Watson and Anais chose an intimate celebration without a formal wedding part, and instead enlisted their brothers as best man and man of honor. Following the ceremony, the couple departed for their honeymoon to southern France.
Deshaun Watson is still continuing his recovery from a re-ruptured Achilles that he sustained during the late part of the 2024 season.
