Two days ago, Deshaun Watson saw his 2024 season and most likely his Cleveland Browns career come to an end when he tore his Achilles, and many Browns fans were happy to see the 29-year-old quarterback carted off the field.
A few groups of Browns fans cheered when they took Watson off on the cart, and they weren’t cheering for the good thing he was okay, but it was the joy they wouldn’t have to see Watson play quarterback for the team again.
Watson has been awful ever since he was traded to the Browns two years ago, and he came to the team with a lot of baggage, having over two dozen sexual assault allegations.
Many Cleveland fans were not happy they traded for Watson, and the only reason they were okay with it was because of how good a player he was. However, since the former Clemson star can no longer play, fans are done with him for many reasons.
It was wrong for Cleveland Browns fans to cheer for Watson when he got injured, but fans didn’t care because they saw all the bad things Watson did off the field to hurt their team. They had the chance to make sure Watson knew how much they didn’t like him in one of his worst moments.
One of the people near Watson, his personal quarterback coach Quincy Avery, didn’t have kind words for Cleveland Browns fans.
Deshaun Watson Quarterback Coach Calls Browns Fans Low-Class
Quincy Avery took to social media to go after Browns fans after they booed Watson and stated, “That was low class. Can’t really describe it as anything else pretty gross from a group of fans.”

The Watson era in Cleveland is over, and everyone close to the quarterback won’t want him to play another snap for the team again. Browns fans have the same mutual feeling.
Cleveland will have a new quarterback under center next season and for years to come, and they can finally put the Watson drama to bed.
