Deshaun Watson has had a few rough seasons the last few years, going back to even 2021 when he was still a a member of the Houston Texans and sat out the entire year due to wanting to be traded and sexual assault allegations against him. Those same allegations got him suspended for the first 11 games of his Cleveland Browns career in 2022, only letting him see six games that season; then, last year, he was batting with a shoulder injury for most of the season, where he once again started six games.
Deshaun Watson Is A Bottom Five Quarterback

On Tuesday, host Craig Carton appeared on his Fox Sports One talk show, The Carton Show, and listed the five worst quarterbacks in the NFL. He ranked Watson fourth worst in the entire league.

Watson Is Not A Bottom Five Quarterback

Of course, Watson hasn’t done much in the last three years, but he has shown flashes of being a Top-Five quarterback in the NFL, and we saw it for full seasons while he was a member of the Texans. There is no way that Watson should be in the same conversation with Carolina Panthers, Bryce Young, New York Giants, Daniel Jones, and even Las Vegas Raiders Gardner Minshew as the worst quarterbacks in the league.

Watson has the chance to prove all the haters wrong this season, and hopefully, for him and the Cleveland Browns, he will show up like he did when he first came into the NFL almost eight years ago.
