Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns offense is struggling to find a rhythm and consistency through the first four weeks which has triggered some trade conversations swirling on the banks of the Ohio River.
Watson has completed 61.5 percent of his passes for 727 yards with four touchdowns to three interceptions through the season’s first month, as the Browns sit at 1-3, two games back in the AFC North.
The Browns, though, could look to add another dynamic weapon to Watson’s supporting cast to try to boost the offense and round out a receiving corps that already includes Amari Cooper and Jerry Jeudy.
Deshaun Watson Weighs in On Cleveland Browns’ Davante Adams Trade Rumors
As Davante Adams requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, there has been some speculation that the Browns could get involved in making a move.
Watson was asked about the possibility of the Browns trading for Adams on Wednesday, and threw his support fully behind the receivers already on the roster.
“No, I’m locked in on my guys … All that is for (GM Andrew Berry) and the front office,” Watson told reporters. “I don’t get into the trade talks or looking to add guys, or anything like that. I’m trying to focus on the execution of the game plans, so we can be productive on Sunday.”

It remains to be seen whether the Browns make a play for Adams, but it sure sounds like Watson hopes to continue building chemistry, timing and cohesion with the receivers currently on the roster.
Cleveland takes on the Washington Commanders in Week 5.
