The NFL and NFL Players Association are sending in post-hearing briefs for the Deshaun Watson case to the judge today. Watson has settled with many of the alleged victims. Two grand juries in Texas also have opted not to indict Watson.

The Judge:
The briefs submitted to Judge Sue L. Robinson will address the question of whether or not Watson should be handed a suspension by the NFL for the upcoming season. Judge Robinson will give a written ruling specifying the details of what actually happened in the case against Deshaun Watson. The NFL and NFLPA is believed to make her ruling available to the public when available. This is expected to come between July 22 and July 29.
The NFL and NFLPA are making their arguments to Sue L. Robinson, a former judge who is the disciplinary officer appointed by the sides.

In Conclusion:
The Cleveland Browns season is on the line. Fans across the league wonder whether or not Watson will be suspended. The Browns traded away former quarterback Baker Mayfield knowing the possibility of Watson being suspended. Watson already missed the 2021 season, but was never suspended, as the allegations piled up throughout the season.
