The NFL Pro Bowl is becoming an unwatchable event. This year, a large number of players aren’t participating for a variety of reasons, and players are being named as replacements every day.
With the Pro Bowl festivities taking part this week, the final roster is starting to take shape. On Tuesday, Baltimore Ravens QB Tyler Huntley was named to the roster as a replacement for Josh Allen.
Then, Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr was named as the final QB for the AFC, joining Huntley and Trevor Lawrence.
After Carr received the news, he gave a hilarious response on Twitter after being passed on for the past few seasons.

The AFC Pro Bowl QBs have changed a ton since they were first announced.

In 2022, which is his final season in Las Vegas as the future remains unclear for Carr, he threw for 3,522 yards with 24 touchdowns and 14 interceptions but was benched for the final couple of games for Jarrett Stidham.
In 2021, Carr threw for 4,804 yards with 23 scores and in 2020 he threw for 4,103 yards with 27 touchdowns.
Well, here’s one twist: The Pro Bowl is in Las Vegas, meaning Carr will suit up one more time in his home stadium and likely wear a Raiders helmet for the last time this weekend.
The future for Derek Carr is one of the biggest storylines of the NFL offseason, and there should be a number of teams interested in acquiring him once the Raiders start making phone calls. For Raiders fans, this will be the final chance to see Carr in a Raiders helmet.
