The Denver Broncos are signing veteran tight end Evan Engram, in a move to potentially significantly bolster quarterback Bo Nix’s supporting cast.
Engram, 30, arrives in Denver off catching 47 passes for 365 yards with one touchdown, however, the former first-round pick of the New York Giants back in 2017 did not drop a single pass in 2024.
News of Engram’s signing was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Engram’s pact is a two-year deal worth $23 million.

As Nix enters his second season, having a reliable pass-catching tight end could significantly hasten the young quarterback’s development and help the Broncos’ offense make major strides in 2025.
Through his first eight seasons, Engram has caught 496 passes for 4,922 yards with 25 touchdowns. He spent the first five seasons of his career in New York, before signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars prior to the 2022 campaign.
