Much like New York Jets’ Haason Reddick and New Orleans Saints’ Paulson Adebo, Garett Bolles is projected to garner some interest in free agency next year. Along with that interest, the Denver Broncos offensive tackle is also predicted to land a new contract worth a lot of money.
As the NFL preseason wraps up, Bolles has been projected as a potential first-time Pro Bowler for the 2024 season. The Denver Broncos’ left tackle, a first-round draft pick in 2017, has started all 99 games for the team and is poised for a standout year.
With a consistent coaching staff in place for the second consecutive season, Bolles aims to replicate the success he enjoyed during his previous stint under stable leadership, which earned him second-team All-Pro honors.
Bolles has shown impressive skills as a blind-side protector, allowing fewer than five sacks in six out of seven seasons, according to Pro Football Focus. His ability to reduce penalties has further solidified his reputation as a reliable force along the Broncos’ offensive line.
Denver Broncos’ Garrett Bolles Projected To Land $54 Million in 2025 Free Agency
By the offseason next year, several guys will garner a lot of interest. Among them is Bolles, as explained in an NFL analysis by Bleacher Report’s David Kenyon.
“Left tackle is still a premium position, and right now, Bolles appears to be the best who will be available in 2025—though, if Ronnie Stanley and/or Cam Robinson rebound from injury-impacted campaigns, that could change.
That said Bolles isn’t likely to sniff the market-leading money tackles like Tristan Wirfs ($28.1 million annually) and Penei Sewell ($28 million) received this offseason. Several tackles will be headed to market, and some promising prospects are likely headed to the 2025 draft.
The Bleacher Report Scouting Department had two left tackles—LSU’s Will Campbell and Texas Kelvin Banks Jr.—go in the first 18 selections of its July mock draft.
Expect Bolles’ next deal to be a bit lower than the three-year, $60 million extension Taylor Decker signed in July.
Projected Contract Value: Three Years, $54 Million,” Kenyon wrote.
As he enters his eighth NFL season, Bolles feels stronger and faster than ever, expressing a renewed confidence in his performance. Throughout training camp, the offensive tackle has emphasized his commitment to improvement. His focus on physical and mental readiness could be key to elevating his game this season.
With the Broncos looking to enhance their offensive performance, Bolles’ role will be crucial. If he can maintain his high level of play and contribute to a successful season, he may not only help the team achieve its goals but also secure his place as an elite player in the league and make that big contract more of a reality when free agency in 2025 comes around.
