Denver Broncos’ star left tackle Garett Bolles has been a reliable blindside blocker and contributor to their offensive line in his first eight seasons in the National Football League. Bolles, once again, is playing at a high level in Year 8 with the Broncos, allowing 14 pressures, 11 hurries, two QB hits, one sack, and a 98.4 blocking efficiency, an 88.7 pass-blocking grade, a 70.7 run-blocking grade, and a 77.6 overall PFF grade. He ranks T-5th in blocking efficiency, 4th in pass blocking, 29th in run blocking, and 17th in overall grade among 85 qualified offensive tackles who have played a minimum of 20% of offensive snaps, h/t PFF.

The Denver Broncos LT was scheduled to hit free agency

Garett Bolles entered the final year of his 4-year, $68 million contract extension, which he signed in November 2020. Bolles, who turns 33 in May, currently has a $15.75 million base salary and a $20 million cap hit for 2024, h/t Over The Cap. After the conclusion of the 2024 season, he was initially scheduled to hit free agency. There was initial speculation that he would hit free agency since a deal wasn’t made before the start of the season.
He isn’t going anywhere

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Broncos and left tackle Garett Bolles have agreed to a lucrative 4-year contract extension. The deal is worth $82 million ($20.5M APY) worth up to $86 million ($4 million in incentives) and $42 million guaranteed. Bolles is now under contract through the 2028 season and will be a free agent in 2029.
