Denver Broncos Offensive Woes
Nathaniel Hackett was hired after coordinating a potent offense in Green Bay. The Denver Broncos believed he and quarterback Russell Wilson would have one of the best offenses in the league. However, the Bronco’s offense has been terrible. The Bronco’s offense ranks 26th in the NFL. Denver’s offense has averaged 316.6 yards per game and has averaged 15 points per game. Russell Wilson has passed for 3,016 yards, thrown 12 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. Bronco fans believed Wilson would play better this season and lead the Broncos to the playoffs. Wilson has looked like a shell of himself and has made poor decisions on the gridiron.
Denver’s offense has been stuck in the mud all season. Denver has failed to execute basic plays, taken unnecessary sacks, and Denver’s skill players have struggled to connect.
What’s Next?
Denver has to find a way to succeed in the future. It starts with finding the right coach who can help Wilson play better. Russell Wilson isn’t going anywhere and needs to connect with Denver’s next coach. Denver’s next coach also has to earn the trust of Denver’s locker room.
The Broncos have been eliminated from the postseason and have two games left.
