First-round rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been a revelation for the Denver Broncos this season.
Nix was named AFC Offensive Player of The Week, following a stellar performance against the Atlanta Falcons where the No. 12 overall pick set new career-highs with 307 passing yards and four touchdowns in a 38-6 blowout victory.

Nix has already taken home NFL Offensive Rookie of The Month honors for the month of October, and could be well on his way to winning the award for a second consecutive month.
So far this season, Nix has completed 65.5 percent of his passes for 2,275 yards with 14 touchdowns to 6 interceptions.
“Bo Nix is a product of excellent coaching,” a defensive coach who has played the Broncos told me earlier this season. “During our game and another one this season. Neither defense got a sack. Lots of seven-man protection for him, two wide receiver routes, and when it wasn’t max protection, the ball was out so fast that they aren’t allowing him to make mistakes.
“With young quarterbacks, it comes down to hitting him which will force those mistakes. We weren’t able to do that.”
