Deion Sanders former NFL player, and current coach of the Colorado Buffaloes college football team recently liked a post which suggested that he would be alright with his son, Shedeur Sanders, joining the Cleveland Browns, if they would have him. Sanders’ three sons, Shedeur Sanders, Shilo Sanders and Travis Hunter, are all college football players, and are to be picked in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Deion Sanders played for a number of NFL teams, starting with the Atlanta Falcons back in 1989, and then playing his final season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2005. Sanders moved on to coaching about a decade later, starting with Prime Prep. Sanders was also the head coach of the Jackson State Tigers, where his son Shedeur Sanders played as quarterback, and shifted to Colorado in 2023.

The Cleveland Browns indeed showed plenty of interest in Shedeur Sanders, even speaking with the quarterback at the Shrine Bowl. In the 2024 NFL season, the Browns finished fourth in the AFC North with only three wins and 14 defeats.
Deion Sanders Gifts Shedeur and Shilo Custom Football Facility
On another note, Deion Sanders gifted his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders a custom football facility in their own home. Sanders managed to convert his home into a football practice facility with a custom turf field and a basketball court.
Deion Sanders’ sons are expected to be among the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, and clearly their father is doing everything he can in his power. Shedeur Sanders is speculated to join the Cleveland Browns in the upcoming season, who are looking for a quarterback. While Deion Sanders is aiming for his sons to get into the NFL as soon as possible, the former NFL player is worried about Cleveland’s murky history with former quarterbacks.
Shedeur Sanders was recently seen speaking to several NFL representatives at the Shrine Bowl. However, Sanders was not seen taking part in the practices, and this led to a rumor that interested parties requested him to do so. Still, the Browns released a statement that they did not do anything of that nature with Sanders, and are still keen on him joining their squad in the upcoming NFL season.
