Deion Sanders is quickly becoming one of the most talked about football coaches in the country. He turned around the Colorado Buffaloes program in just one season. After the program went 1-11 in 2022, Sanders took over as head coach. In 2023 the team went 4-8, however, in 2024 the team went 9-4 and made an appearance in the Alamo Bowl.
His son, Shedeur Sanders was a huge reason for the teams’ success. Going into the NFL Draft, Sanders is one of the highest graded prospects. However, his father only thinks there are five teams good enough to draft him.
REPORT: Deion Sanders Consents To Only Five Teams Drafting His Son Shedeur Sanders

During a recent interview with Skip Bayless, Deion clarified that he would not influence the selection of his son by an NFL team. Coach Prime acknowledged Shedeur’s preferred destination, but said he was “okay” with just five teams drafting him:
“Shedeur has told me, he’s talked to me intently about all the visits he’s had with all the teams. So I know where his heart is. I know where he wants to go,” Deion said.
“If it’s New York, it’s New York. If it’s Tennessee, if it’s Cleveland, if it’s still the Raiders, if it’s New Orleans, if it’s any of those teams that are seeking a quarterback, I’m happy with it. Because I know what he’s gonna do to the organization.”
