Deion Sanders’ Girlfriend ID’s Herself And Goes Viral For Actions Amid Colorado’s 0-1 Start

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes started their season off 0-1 following a brutal 27-20 loss to Georgia Tech.  With Colorado playing at home, and the team coming off a season with Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, fans had high expectations.

However, it was Sanders’ girlfriend who was making headlines on Friday.

Karrueche Tran isn’t fumbling her love life.

Indeed, it’s the exact opposite. One month after fans began to speculate the status of her relationship with former NFL pro Deion Sanders, the Claws alum set the record straight.

“Is she dating right now? I saw that you took a liking into football recently,” host J. Ryan playfully asked Karrueche on the Aug. 28 episode of the What’s Next podcast, to which she coyly replied, “Yeah I’m dating.”

Taking a more serious tone, Karrueche—who has previously been linked to Chris Brown and Victor Cruz—confirmed that she’s in a good place.

“If I wasn’t having fun I wouldn’t be in it,” Karrueche, 37, said. “I’m at a point in my life, I know what I want. I’ve dated a lot, I’ve done a lot, I did this, I did that. Young, old. So, if I wasn’t happy and content and feeling good in my situation, I’m not wasting my time.”

“I’d rather be at home namaste,” she quipped. “In bed by 9 o’clock, doing my own thing if I’m not happy. I’m in a good place.”

Karrueche and Coach Prime sparked relationship rumors after she appeared alongside him in a July 28 YouTube vlog documenting his bladder cancer diagnosis. In a portion of the video, Karrueche tearfully sat alongside Deion, 58, as he prepped for surgery to remove his bladder.

“We are at the hospital, cause we are dealing with bladder cancer,” she said through tears. “And he is having his bladder removed and they will create a new bladder with one of his intestines. This option was I guess the best because it fully removes the cancer to ensure that it doesn’t come back, because it was close to his muscle. So yeah, we are here to fully remove the bladder.”

Following the release of the video, Karrueche and Deion did not speak about their relationship. In fact, Deion—who is the father of Deiondra, 33, Deion Jr., 31, Shilo, 25, Shedeur, 23, and Shelomi, 21—pump faked his way around the question.

“Don’t kill the messenger,” Asante Sammuel told Deion on the July 31 episode of the Say What Needs to Be Said podcast. “Everyone seen Karrueche Tran by your side during your hospital visit. Everyone wants to know what that friendship is.”

Instead of saying yes or no, Deion playfully dodged the question by acting like the connection on the call was poor before hanging up.
