Florida State football fans are desperate for a coaching change after their 0-2 start to the 2024 season. Some even want a coach who went 4-8 and was almost upset by an FCS school last week to return to Tallahassee and restore the program to the heights of the early Jimbo Fisher days.
Florida State football is off to a slow start
FSU was shocked at home by Boston College a week after Georgia Tech knocked the Seminoles off in Ireland. Head coach On Monday night, Mike Norvell called the early season a failure but said the team had plenty to play for the rest of the season.
Norvell has plenty to coach for. FSU played well last season with quarterback Jordan Travis. But without Travis, the offense has looked lost. Transfer quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has underperformed in the first two games.
FSU’s defense hasn’t played well either. Many of those problems can be blamed on the coaching staff for not having the team prepared.
FSU fans call for Deion Sanders to return to Tallahassee
Deion Sanders was a star football player for FSU. Some fans are advocating for Sanders to return to the program before the 2025 season. While Sanders hasn’t won many notable games at Colorado, he would have a better chance to win a national title at a school with larger resources. (At least, he might not have to have his staff fly to Saudi Arabia to secure NIL funds.)
