Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders went on a rant during his Thursday press appearance that is drawing comparisons to how former President Donald Trump handled the media.
During his presidency, Trump refused to take questions from certain outlets or reporters. During one press conference, Trump said he would not take a question from CNN because they were “fake news.”
Colorado Buffaloes HC Deion Sanders has beef with CBS
Sanders handled his press conference on Friday in a similar manner. As previously discussed on GH, Sanders said he would not take questions from CBS:
On Friday, Sanders pressed two separate media members during an interview, most notably taking shots at CBS National. When CBS News Colorado representative Eric Christensen asked a question, Sanders stopped him in his tracks, calling out the national brand of his employer.
“I’m not doing nothing with CBS. Next question. It ain’t got nothing to do with you. It’s above that. It ain’t got nothing to do with you. I got love you. I appreciate you. I respect you. They know what they did…CBS is CBS… What they did was foul.”
