On Thursday night, one of the most shocking flips of the entire 2023 cycle happened. Five-star defensive back Cormani McClain flipped his commitment from the Miami Hurricanes to the Colorado Buffaloes. McClain is the number twelve overall player in the class according to the 247 composite (#1 CB). Deion Sanders and the Buffs have been making waves so far, both on the recruiting trail, and through the transfer portal.

With Cormani McClain’s commitment, this marks back to back cycles in which Deion Sanders was able to flip the number one cornerback to his team at the eleventh hour. McClain plans to sign with the Buffaloes on the first of February. What an incredible way for Deion Sanders to kickstart the rebuild down in Boulder.
