This weekend will be another game featuring the Defenders vs Vipers. This time, Las Vegas will be headed to DC, but one thing may be the same as the last time they met. The game between these two teams will take place this Sunday and 7 pm Eastern. While it is still early and it can change, the weather is not looking great for these teams.

While it is still early, the weather report is not looking great. As of now, the temperature is supposed to drop, with heavy rains. If the weather continues to drop there could be a chance of snow, but as of now just rain. This will create some tough playing conditions for both teams.

In the Defenders vs Vipers week 2 matchup, the rain was so heavy that each team had to focus on running the ball, especially in the second half of the game. Defenders fans can expect quarterback Ta’amu to get another start, but if they cannot pass the ball, the odds are more than likely D’Eriq King will go in.

As for fans of the Las Vegas Vipers, hopefully, the team will use the week 2 Defenders vs Vipers gave to learn how to stop the Defenders from running through them. The Vipers are currently 0-3, while the Defenders are 3-0 undefeated.

The rain, along with a couple of players not playing for the Defenders due to suspensions, could change the way this week’s game goes. If the weather turns out the way it is predicted, anything can happen this weekend when it comes to the XFL standings.

Another factor going into the Defenders vs Vipers game is the fans. If the weather ends up being worse, there may not be as many fans in the stadiums. In just three weeks the DC Defenders fanbase has shown up and been as loud as can be. The Defenders truly have a home-field advantage and may lose that depending on how the weather turns out.

The Vegas Vipers will face the DC Defenders this Sunday at 7 pm Eastern.
