The Wisconsin Badgers fans have been vocal about wanting some sort of change to the quarterback situation this season.
Following the momentum of a solid drive on offense for the Badgers, quarterback Braedyn Locke attempted to force a pass. The quarterback did not see the cornerback flying in from the left side, and was intercepted quickly be the Iowa Hawkeyes defender. The Hawkeyes quickly scored off of the interception, which prompted quite the response from Wisconsin fans on social media.
Wisconsin has had an up and down season from the quarterback room, with the only real down being the ongoing interception issue. The Badgers starting quarterback is now on a streak lasting seven games and six starts with at least one interception. Locke has had a difficult time adjusting to the coverages and schemes that some opposing teams have run against the Badgers.
Wisconsin Badgers Fans Upset Following Recent Quarterback Mishaps
At this point in the season, Wisconsin Badgers fans have become accustomed to waiting each game for the interception to occur. To the fans, it seems like a sure thing that will occur each game, and they have not been shy about letting the Badgers hear it. Following his seventh interception this season and his seventh game in a row with an interception, Locke received quite a response on social media.

Many Wisconsin Badgers fans have also pointed out the fact that the interception itself was a rather ugly one. Locke appeared to either have not seen the cornerback or to have predetermined where he would be throwing the football on the play. Regardless of what he chooses to do, the quarterback needs to be smarter than that against teams like Iowa who can use all the momentum they can get.
