Davante Adams Trade Rumors: 4 Teams Emerge To Be Interested In The 6-Time Pro Bowl WR

It seems like Davante Adams’ days with the Las Vegas Raiders are coming to an end, and it seems like it’s an amicable split, with all that’s been going on on social media. Rumors began when the Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce liked a post on social media that said the team should go on without Adams. The wide receiver himself has informed his team that he looks to be traded off, and the franchise seems open to the idea.

Adams has always had a good relationship with the Raiders and team owner Mark Davis. However, the former Green Bay Packer is still hungry for a Super Bowl win, but he feels he won’t be able to accomplish it with the Raiders for a couple of reasons, particularly the quarterback situation. So far, Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell have yet to establish themselves as reliable passers for the franchise, and the team will have to look for another quarterback in the next offseason.

Where could Davante Adams go?

Those close to Davante Adams say that the New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, and New Orleans Saints are all interested in acquiring him. Of the four teams, the feeling is that the Steelers would be the best fit for the wide receiver.

The Jets could also be a good fit for Adams as it would reunite him with his former teammate Aaron Rodgers. Some reports say that the former Green Bay quarterback is lobbying for the Jets to acquire his former receiver.

How much is the Raiders’ trade price for Davante Adams?

The Raiders have sent feelers that they are willing to trade Adams in exchange for a second-round pick and an added compensation from a willing trade partner. There are teams that have expressed interest in agreeing to the price, and the first one willing to include their first round pick is said to be going to get the trade deal.

Touted as one of the best wide receivers in the league today, Adams entered the NFL out of Fresno State as the second round pick of the Green Bay Packers. He has six Pro Bowl selections and two receiving touchdowns leader selections in his resume, achieving both honors as a member of the Packers and the Las Vegas Raiders. He has also been named a First Team All-Pro three times.

Davante Adams is currently in his 11th season in the NFL.
