Davante Adams, wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, recently opened up about his long-time partnership with none other than veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers in his appearance on the ‘Up & Adams’ show.

The quarterback and the wide receiver created a legacy of sorts during their long stint with the Packers, and fans predicted the two to bring the same chemistry to the New York Jets. Unfortunately, the same old pattern was never seen again, and now both the players play for different teams in the NFL.

“We both got to try it again together and gave that another shot. So that stone wasn’t left unturned. We did what we had to do and it just obviously didn’t work. Just like for me, I wish him nothing but luck and I know he’s gonna go out there and ball out too.” Davante Adams spoke about his chemistry with Aaron Rodgers during his time with the Green Bay Packers and the New York Jets in his latest appearance on the ‘Up & Adams’ show.

After his one-year deal with the New York Jets, Davante Adams has moved on to play for the Los Angeles Rams. Adams will soon make his debut with the Rams in the upcoming season as the team faces off the Houston Texans in Week 1.

Davante Adams Took A Hit At Aaron Rodgers Earlier

While Davante Adams may have nothing but great things to say about his former teammate Aaron Rodgers, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver seemed to take a jab at the veteran quarterback a few weeks back. At the mandatory minicamp last month, Adams remarked that there was a ‘dark cloud’ hanging over their heads at the New York Jets, which is why the team could not succeed.

“Everybody’s in a good mood. It’s not like a dark cloud over the building. And I’ve experienced that quite a bit over the last few years. So, it’s a glaring difference when you come into a building like this.” Davante Adams said about his time with the New York Jets, perhaps hinting at Rodgers’ presence being negative and a ‘dark cloud’.

Aaron Rodgers is definitely known in the league as a bit of a drama queen and it definitely will not be a surprise if Davante Adams admits that he was indeed talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback himself. Rodgers certainly did not have a great time with the Jets and the team had to release him earlier this year.
