Los Angeles Rams star receiver Davante Adams is facing uncertainty after suffering an aggravated hamstring injury, casting doubt over his availability for key upcoming games.

With the NFC West title and top playoff seed on the line, his status becomes critical as Los Angeles prepares for a Thursday night clash against the Seattle Seahawks. Davante Adams is considered week-to-week with an aggravated hamstring injury.
Davante Adams’ hamstring aggravation clouds Rams’ NFC West showdown with Seahawks
Adams is expected to miss the Los Angeles Rams’ upcoming game on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks, with a potential return targeted for the playoffs.
The injury is an aggravation of a pre-existing hamstring issue he had been managing for several weeks. NFL insiders suggest the severity will likely sideline him for the final regular season stretch, with the team prioritizing his full recovery for a postseason run.
“Rams WR Davante Adams, who left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury, is considered week-to-week, sources say. That almost certainly knock him out for TNF, but it is simply an aggravation of what he was previously dealing with, not a new injury,” NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared from his X handle.

Rams head coach Sean McVay noted the injury “did not look good” and while he didn’t rule Adams out entirely for the short-week game, he acknowledged it would be a tough turnaround for him to play.
The injury was an aggravation of a previous hamstring issue. Subsequent reports indicated Adams was considered week-to-week and almost certain to miss the Seahawks game.
The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks are tied at the top of the NFC standings with identical 11-3 records heading into their Week 16 matchup, which will determine the division leader.
The Rams currently hold the tiebreaker advantage over the Seahawks due to a 21-19 head-to-head victory in Week 11.
The winner of their upcoming Thursday game will take sole possession of first place in the NFC West and have the inside track for the NFC’s top playoff seed and a first-round bye.
Puka Nacua is among the NFL leaders in receptions and receiving yards for the 2025 season, while Davante Adams currently leads the NFL in receiving touchdowns with 14.
Nacua is tied for first in the NFL in receptions with Trey McBride and second in receiving yards behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Their combined performance makes them a dominant duo, with Nacua serving as the primary receiver in terms of yardage and volume, and Adams as the primary threat in the red zone.
