Darius Slay Jr., Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback, recently reacted to AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, getting engaged to Kelsey Riley. Brown and Riley have been together since 2022 and have a son, Arthur Jr., who was born in September of that year. Brown seems like quite the romantic and proposed to Riley at the Four Seasons hotel with singer-songwriter John Legend serenading the couple.
AJ Brown has been playing with the Philadelphia Eagles since 2022 and before that played for the Tennessee Titans. Brown and Darius Slay Jr. developed quite the friendship during their time with the Eagles team. In the upcoming NFL season, Darius Slay will make his debut for the Pittsburgh Steelers after being recently signed with the team.

Before playing for the Philadelphia Eagles with AJ Brown, Darius Slay Jr. played for the Detroit Lions from 2013 to 2019. Darius Slay Jr. was selected by the Lions as the 36th pick in the second round of the NFL draft. Before stepping foot into the league, the 34-year-old cornerback split his college football career between the Itawamba Community College Indians and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Darius Slay’s New Team Still Eager To Bring In Aaron Rodgers
On another note, Darius Slay’s new team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, seem to be dead-set on bringing in veteran quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. However, Rodgers has still kept the team on a ledge and not given them a response.
Rodgers was also seen wearing what looks like a wedding ring at the recently concluded Kentucky Derby. It is unclear as to whether this will impact Rodgers’ decision about his future in the NFL. Currently, it seems like only the Pittsburgh Steelers are showing interest in Aaron Rodgers. Previously, the Minnesota Vikings were also eager to bring in Rodgers but seem to have dropped the idea.
Aaron Rodgers previously played for the New York Jets in the previous season but was let go by the team in March. Rodgers recently mentioned in an interview that he is in a serious relationship and needs to consider this along with other factors before he makes a decision about his next team in the NFL. It looks like Rodgers has taken a long-term decision in terms of his personal life by getting married, but nothing has been confirmed by the player yet.
