The No. 1 player in the state of Michigan will relocate to Eugene, Oregon, for college football. Dante Moore announces his commitment to the Oregon Ducks. His decision went public on SportsCenter.
Moore chose Oregon over LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M. He was the last high-ranking quarterback to make a college decision since Avery Johnson committed to Kansas State. Ducks’ offensive coordinator and QB coach Kenny Dillingham earns the nod for bringing in Moore.
Oregon is a university where student-athletes seek NIL deals and build a brand for themselves. Moore understands the circumstances but is focusing on his game.
“This whole process, many coaches and reporters know about me that, when it comes to NIL, I’m just a kid trying to play football and just better myself. I know that it’s Nike and Phil Knight. Of course there can be big opportunities for NIL and build my brand. I know it’s going to be a great process, but as of now we haven’t talked anything much about that.”

In Conclusion
First-year head coach Dan Lanning reels in his 11th prospect and brings in his first QB. Oregon ranks No.16 on 247Sports’ national recruiting list.
Former Auburn signal-caller Bo Nix and former four-stars Jay Butterfield and Ty Thompson are on the Ducks’ QB depth charts. Although Moore has challenging competition ahead of him, he has a solid chance of earning playing time because of trusting in Oregon’s coaching staff.
Moore becomes the highest-ranked field general recruit in the program’s history. With the five-star’s decision, Dylan Lonergan is the last uncommitted quarterback left on ESPN’s Top 300.
