UFC president Dana White is reportedly set to crash the broadcast with a major combat sports announcement that has fight fans marking their calendars alongside turkey dinner plans.

Dana White to Reveal UFC 324 Main Event During Chiefs Game on Thursday

For the unversed, the Chiefs-Cowboys matchup is set to go live on CBS and Paramount+. Earlier this year, UFC signed a $7.7 billion deal with Paramount to stream 13 numbered events and 30 Fight Nights on Paramount+ for subscribers.

So, this Thursday’s Thanksgiving clash is the perfect stage for White to announce the UFC 324 main event, which will be the promotion’s first numbered card under its massive partnership with Paramount.

MMA journalist Adam Martin dropped the bombshell speculation that White plans to hijack the Thanksgiving broadcast for a surprise UFC announcement.

He took on X, penning, “The Chiefs vs. Cowboys Thanksgiving NFL game is on CBS/Paramount+ this Thursday. It would be the perfect opportunity for UFC president Dana White to make a surprise announcement for the UFC 324 main event.”

UFC 324 is set for late January at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, marking the start of the UFC’s seven-year broadcast partnership with Paramount.

The UFC boss has kept fight fans in the dark about who headlines the Paramount debut. Speculation centers on lightweight champion Ilia Topuria defending his belt, possibly against Paddy Pimblett, though Topuria’s manager recently poured cold water on a January return.

However, Martin doubled down on his tease with a follow-up post screaming, “UFC fans won’t want to miss the Chiefs vs. Cowboys game tomorrow,” complete with eye emojis suggesting he got some real insider scoop. Whether White actually pulls the trigger remains to be seen, but fans are now extremely excited.

Will Taylor Swift Appear at the Chiefs-Cowboys Thanksgiving Clash?

The other massive storyline surrounding Thursday’s game involves whether pop superstar Taylor Swift shows up to support fiancé Travis Kelce.

Swift’s presence at NFL games has become appointment viewing since she started dating Kansas City’s tight end, and Jerry Jones is rolling out the red carpet if she decides to make the trip to AT&T Stadium.

Jones promised Swift a special seat at the game, calling himself her biggest fan and crediting her relationship with Kelce for boosting NFL interest.

But her attendance remains uncertain. The singer has largely avoided Chiefs road games this season due to security concerns, with her team spending nearly $8 million annually on personal protection.

But this isn’t just any road game. Thanksgiving is not a regular holiday, and the Cowboys represent one of the NFL’s premier franchises in a matchup that could define both teams’ playoff hopes. The stakes combined with the holiday tradition might convince Swift to break her away-game drought.
