Demar Hamlin Met with Joe Biden
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin met with President Joe Biden this week. Hamlin suffered a scary injury on Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals after he made a tackle. Medical crews on the field rushed to perform CPR on Hamlin, which contributed to saving the football player’s life and quality of life. Hamlin has been making a public recovery since the injury.
According to a statement by President Biden on Twitter, the President said it was an honor to meet with Hamlin:
“Damar Hamlin’s courage, resilience, and spirit inspired the American people. And what’s more: he turned recovery into action – and our country is better for it. It was my honor to have him and his family here today.”

Hamlin responded to the message, saying it was an honor to meet Biden:
