The Dallas Cowboys finished with a 7-10 record this past season and they missed the playoffs. There is a chance that the Cowboys will need to make changes to its roster next season.

There could be a chance that the Dallas Cowboys will trade Micah Parsons this offseason, but it remains to be seen. Will there be a chance that they could be contenders to trade for Cleveland Browns Myles Garrett? That is something to watch for this offseason.
Latest NFL Mock Draft Has the Dallas Cowboys Trading Its First-Round Pick To the Cleveland Browns For Myles Garrett

Dan Parr of nfl.com created his latest NFL Mock Draft in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. With the 12th overall pick, this was going to be owned by the Dallas Cowboys, but he has Dallas trading the pick to the Cleveland Browns for Myles Garrett. Parr said:
“PROJECTED TRADE WITH DALLAS COWBOYS
The Cowboys’ all-in mantra is back, baby. Jerry Jones isn’t going to sit on his hands and watch the NFC East run away from him, so he trades two first-rounders (this year’s and next year’s) for Myles Garrett, while the Browns get a new centerpiece for their offense. It would take some creative salary cap maneuvering for Dallas to make it happen, but Micah Parsons has already said he’d take less if it meant he would get to play opposite Garrett.”
It would be wild if the Cowboys were able to have a tandem of Myles Garrett and Micah Parsons on defense next season. However one of the biggest questions with Dallas would be would Garrett be willing to go to the Cowboys to potentially win it all?
The Dallas Cowboys are not that close to winning. The Philadelphia Eagles, the Washington Commanders, the Green Bay Packers, and the Detroit Lions would be better options for Garrett rather than Dallas.
Browns Would Select Ashton Jeanty With This Pick

With this selection that the Cleveland Browns get from the Cowboys, Cleveland would select running back Ashton Jeanty from the Boise State Broncos with this selection. If they draft Jeanty, it probably means that Nick Chubb is not coming back or they want to establish a 1-2 punch with Jeanty and Chubb.
Jeanty last season with the Boise State Broncos rushed for 1,601 yards on 374 carries and 29 touchdowns, along with averaging 7.0 yards per carry. He also caught 23 passes for 138 yards receiving and one touchdown, along with averaging 6.0 yards per reception. If the Browns do trade Myles Garrett this offseason, it will signal a rebuild for the franchise.
