The Dallas Cowboys host the Kansas City Chiefs at AT&T Stadium for Week 13 of the regular season on Thanksgiving. Dallas hopes to extend their winning streak to three games and keep their playoff hopes alive. However, it will be more challenging with an offensive weapon banged up.
Dallas Cowboys’ leading receiver suffered an injury on Sunday

George Pickens battled through a calf cramp and a sore knee during Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles and still put up nine receptions for 146 yards and one touchdown. He was estimated as a non-participant on Monday and upgraded to a limited participant on Tuesday. Despite returning to practice on Tuesday, the Cowboys need to ensure Pickens is healthy enough to play on Thursday and prevent the risk of aggravation if he’s not.
Dallas Cowboys reveal superstar’s Week 13 status

George Pickens upgraded to a full participant on Wednesday, a positive sign regarding his availability for Thanksgiving. According to Tommy Yarrish of the team’s website, the superstar weapon doesn’t carry an official injury designation for the game against the Kansas City Chiefs and is good to go. Pickens being active is a massive boost for the Cowboys’ offense.
Tyler Guyton (ankle) is officially out for the #Cowboys on Thursday against Kansas City. Caelen Carson (hamstring) is questionable. George Pickens (knee/calf) is good to go.

Will their gadget receiver play?

KaVontae Turpin suffered a shoulder injury against the Philadelphia Eagles and is also dealing with an illness. The All-Pro kick returner and gadget player sat out on Monday, was limited on Tuesday, and upgraded to a full participant on Wednesday. The good news is that Turpin also doesn’t carry an injury designation and is good to go.
