The Dallas Cowboys will kick off the last game of Week 11 against the Houston Texans on Monday night football, and the team made a few roster moves that will impact the rest of the season.

On Monday afternoon, the Cowboys placed starting quarterback Dak Prescott on injured reserve after he had season-ending hamstring surgery. With his roster spot, they didn’t add any offensive help.
Dallas Cowboys Add Help

Usually, when a quarterback is lost for the season, the team adds help to the offensive side of the ball, but the Cowboys did the exact opposite of that and added defensive back Josh Butler.
Butler attended Michigan State and played in the UFL for the Michigan Panthers. The 27-year-old defensive back was on the Cowboys’ practice squad but is now taking over a real roster spot held by Prescott.
The Cowboys will need a lot of help to make a push for the playoffs this season, and there is a good chance head coach Mike McCarthy will be coaching for his job the rest of the way.
