The Dallas Cowboys had Kellen Moore on the coaching staff from 2018-2022. Moore was the quarterbacks coach in 2018 and then was the offensive coordinator from 2019-2022.

He then became the Los Angeles Chargers’ offensive coordinator in 2023 and is the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator in 2024. Kellen Moore has one of the most talented offenses with the Eagles this NFL season.
NFL Network Reports That the Dallas Cowboys Have Requested Permission To Interview Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore

With the Cowboys looking to interview candidates for the head coaching job, the NFL Network reported that the Cowboys have officially requested to interview Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore for the job. This is interesting that Dallas requested an interview for him after he left a couple of years ago.
Moore was also a quarterback on the Cowboys roster from 2015-2017. It will be interesting to see if the Eagles will allow him to interview with Dallas.

There are a lot of Cowboys fans who do not want them to hire Moore as the next head coach after letting Mike McCarthy walk out the door earlier this week. Deion Sanders could be the favorite to be the Cowboys head coach for the 2025 NFL season. It could take a while before owner Jerry Jones decides who he wants as the next head coach for this franchise.
