Dallas Cowboys Compared To The Kardsashians By Veteran Sports Journalist

Following the Dallas Cowboys’ sound defeat at the hands of the Green Bay Packers during the wild card round of the 2023 NFL playoff, owner Jerry Jones made a promise to go “all-in” and try to win the Super Bowl this season. It seems like Jones can say goodbye to his Super Bowl aspirations.

After being utterly conquered by the New Orleans Saints 44-19 in Week 2, the Cowboys fell to the Baltimore Ravens in a close 28-25 fight the following week. They have dropped to 1-2, sitting third in the NFC East team standings.

Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd bluntly criticized the Dallas Cowboys’ rough start to their campaign. On the latest episode of “The Herd,” he compared Jerry Jones’ team to the Kardashian family.

“The Cowboys have become one big, authentic Kardashian event,” Cowherd said. “There’s drama and there’s glitz and there’s glamor and there’s money, and most of it’s just a big illusion, and they both have the most gullible of people that worship them. The Cowboys and the Kardashians are great at taking your money, and Jerry Jones has mastered that.”

Cowherd continued, “The last five really good teams they have played—Buffalo, Green Bay, and Detroit last year; Saints [and] Ravens this year—Four of five of those [games] were at home and they’ve been bullied in ALL of those games at some point.”

Dallas Cowboys ‘have no chin’, says Colin Cowherd

Continuing his rant on the Dallas Cowboys, Colin Cowherd further blasted the team for not having a talented enough roster and for being “soft.”

“They’re the worst-run defense in the league,” Cowherd said. “They’re also a team that has no chin; if you hit them early, they fold like a cheap deck chair.”

Cowherd continued dressing the Cowboys down with another reference to the Kardashians. “Unlike the Kardashians, actually, some of the Kardashian products are actually pretty good. ‘SKIMS,’ I’m told, is excellent,” the analyst prefaced his comparison.

“And whereas the Kardashian fans that worship them actually like their products and like them, Dallas fans were recently surveyed in the offseason by The Athletic…Thousands of fans, and the majority said, ‘We have no chance to win a Super Bowl in the next five years,’” Cowherd continued. “What am I supposed to like about this team?”

Cowherd’s rather ruthless remarks toward the Dallas Cowboys seem warranted. Through three weeks, the franchise didn’t look ready or strong enough to win a Super Bowl and end their 28-year-long drought, let alone earn a playoff spot.
