Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Armani Latimer recently opened up about the fact that she has stopped wearing a wig in performances.
In a question submitted to her via Instagram Stories, Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Armani Latimer addressed why she has stopped wearing wigs, which was something she used to do during performances.
“Thank you. I’ve done Alopecia Awareness as my MCMB for the past few years and knew I was going to do it again this season,” she said in her response. “I kept getting a tug on my heart to do more to spread awareness, but didn’t know how to do it yet.”
“Then I kept hearing a voice telling me to dance without my wig. When I finally stopped ignoring that feeling and prayed about it, the decision was pretty much made!”
Latimer has had alopecia since she was little. Alopecia is a medical condition that causes hair loss, which can be temporary or permanent, affecting the scalp, beard, eyebrows, eyelashes, or even body hair. It is often an autoimmune disorder, where the immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, leading to patchy bald spots or complete hair loss.

Dallas Cowboys Named “Biggest Loser” of 2025 Schedule Release
The Dallas Cowboys have been labeled one of the biggest losers of the 2025 NFL schedule release due to an exceptionally difficult late-season stretch. With the fifth-toughest schedule in the league, the Cowboys will face an unprecedented challenge, including six consecutive games against teams that won 11 or more games last season.

Additionally, Dallas will make NFL history by playing four Thursday games in a single season, further complicating their schedule.
The Cowboys’ brutal stretch begins in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles, followed by a Thanksgiving Day showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs. They then face the Detroit Lions on another Thursday night, a home game against the Minnesota Vikings, and matchups with the Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Commanders on Christmas Day.
These six teams combined for an 81-21 record last season, making this one of the toughest stretches any team has ever faced. Analysts predict that this schedule could derail Dallas’ playoff hopes, leading to another frustrating offseason.

Despite the daunting schedule, the Cowboys have an opportunity to prove their resilience under head coach Brian Schottenheimer. If they manage to stay competitive through the holidays, they could emerge as a battle-tested team heading into the playoffs.
While the odds are stacked against the Dallas Cowboys, overcoming this historic challenge would solidify their status as a legitimate contender in the 2025 NFL season.
