There was a lot to be happy about as Dak Prescott led the Dallas Cowboys to a powerful 44-22 victory over the Washington Commanders in Week 7. The star quarterback seemed to be in full control of the offense as he gave another statement performance that blasted the chants of MVP in AT&T Stadium. As much as he played in the game, he was as confident as ever to prove that this is a potential that can make things happen in this team.

“When we play to what we’re capable of doing, we’re going to be a very, very tough team to beat,” Prescott declared.

Their Week 7 win was more than another tick on the win list it was a historic statistic in Cowboys history that Prescott has passed Tom Brady to the lead in the highest percentage of overall wins over division rivals since the merging of the two leagues in the 1970s. His winning percentage has gone up to 79.1 percent, a little more than that of Brady 78.4 percent. Patrick Mahomes is still the leader of all time with an 85.4 percent.

Prescott’s game against Washington showed his accuracy and calmness, qualities that have put him in the MVP discussion. He completed 21 of 30 passes for 264 yards, threw three touchdowns, and didn’t throw any interceptions.

Social media lit up after the game, with one supporter shouting, “Jersey clean af! They ain’t touch my boy!” Another wrote, “LETS GO DAK. That’s my MVP.”

One fan proudly added, “Dak is such a quality human  makes his success even sweeter,” echoing the sentiment around Prescott’s on- and off-field maturity.

Even some rallied behind the quarterback’s resurgence. “Can’t wait for people not to understand Brady picking Dak for this week’s player of the week again,” commented one observer, capturing how far Prescott’s reputation has come.

Dallas will go to meet Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos in Week 8, a major challenge to a team finding its way back. As long as Prescott continues to play at the same speed, the Cowboys will look as he warned: horrible tough.
