Dak Prescott’s patience in the Dallas Cowboys front office was rewarded on Sunday when the team agreed to a four-year contract extension. Prescott’s girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, was thrilled with the new deal the Cowboys gave their star quarterback.
The Cowboys came into the offseason with three players to consider extending contracts with. The Cowboys agreed to a new deal with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in late August. On Sunday, they extended Prescott’s contract.
The team has yet to extend the contract of star pass rusher Micah Parsons.
Prescott received a sweet deal from owner Jerry Jones.

As previously discussed by Matt Lombardo on GH, Prescott signed a deal worth $240 million, but the kicker is what is guaranteed:
Sunday morning, the Cowboys signed Prescott to a four-year contract extension worth $240 million, making him the highest-paid player in the history of the NFL. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Prescott’s deal includes $231 million guaranteed.
The guaranteed portion of Prescott’s contract eclipses the fully-guaranteed contract the Cleveland Browns signed Deshaun Watson to prior to the 2022 campaign.
Not only is Prescott’s deal the highest-paying contract in league history, but includes the most money ever guaranteed by a contract.
Prescott’s girlfriend sent her congratulations
Not long after the deal was announced, Ramos took to Instagram to congratulate Prescott on the contract extension before his game against the Cleveland Browns.
“The most deserving man and the best partner and father, We love you,” Ramos wrote on her Instagram story.
Prescott had a great game following news of his contract extension. Prescott went 19/32 passing for 179 yards and one touchdown during the Cowboys’ 33-17 thumping of the Browns.
