Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys quarterback, was recently blamed by NFL analyst Chris Simms for the team’s poor performance. In his recent appearance on the ‘Up & Adams Show’, Simms questions Prescott’s potential, especially with his contract being one of the highest-paid in the NFL today. Simms remarked that Prescott is definitely not worth all the money he is being paid by the Cowboys.
Prescott has been with the Dallas Cowboys since 2016 and even managed to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year title in his first year with the team. In his previous season with the Cowboys, Prescott’s stats were dismal as a result of a season-ending hamstring injury. But even in his prime, the quarterback’s performance was continually questioned by numerous NFL analysts like Simms.
“Dak Prescott is one thing that you would say. What is holding them back? I don’t wanna say he’s holding them back. But he is the highest paid player in football. And I would say he’s not near the top five quarterback in football, so that’s gotta match up a little bit better, right? Is even a top 10 quarterback. I don’t know about that either,” Chris Simms said about Dak Prescott in his appearance in the ‘Up & Adams’ show on Monday.

In the 2024 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys finished third in the NFC East with Dak Prescott leading them for most of the year. Dallas managed to win seven games and lost ten in the year. The Cowboys played their very last game of the season against the Washington Commanders, losing 23-19 and ended up being chucked from the tournament.

Despite many NFL pundits pinpointing Dak Prescott’s flaws in the NFL, the quarterback still has at least two people who think the world of him – his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos and his baby daughter, Margaret Jane.
For Mother’s Day, Sarah Jane Ramos shared several pictures of herself holding Margaret Jane, affectionately called MJ, and of Dak Prescott holding their daughter. Ramos also captioned the post mentioning how “obsessed” she is with both of them.
Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos have been together for a couple of years now and got engaged in October 2024. The couple has one daughter together and is also expecting another child who is due to be born next year. While the couple is pretty private about their relationship, they also share a few snippets from important moments in their lives from time to time.
