The Dallas Cowboys, like every other team in the NFL, will have some scrappy moments during training camp. Players who have fought their entire life to get to that moment aren’t going to take it easy. They’re going to do whatever it takes to make the 53-man roster.
However, one scrap went too far.
“Get Your — On The Sideline” Cowboys HC Stops Massive Fight And Punishes Shocking Players

At Wednesday’s training camp, the Dallas Cowboys were exposed to discipline under new coach Brian Schottenheimer:
According to The Athletic’s Jon Machota, Schottenheimer lost it after the team kept fighting during its 11-on-11 session. Saying, “You want to fight, let’s f—cking fight. Get your ass on the sideline,” before making Dallas’ players run.
Fans reacted to the Cowboys clip on X:
Too much fighting, and Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer isn’t happy. “You want to fight, let’s f—cking fight. Get your ass on the sideline.”

“I honestly don’t know what to expect from Dallas this season, but finally having a head coach that holds guys accountable for things makes me more hopeful than I have been in recent years,” a user said.
“Suuuuuuuuuuppppperrrrrr Boooowwwwllll,” another commented.
“Did Mike [mccarthy] ever do this if not I like this,” a fan replied.
“still don’t know how i feel about a lot of things regarding this team, franchise, etc. but for years they’ve been undisciplined and this looks to be a step in the right direction,” another person pointed out.
“Most coaches accept some fighting. It happens. But after enough practice is stopped for fighting they feel it’s cutting into prep for the season. So they are over it,” Geoff Schwartz shared.
“Schotty going Coach Carter on them today …and I’m totally here for it.”
“We’re going 4-13 aren’t we,” another fan asked.
“Team that lacks discipline and what it takes to win when it matters. This is all I need to see tbh.”
“Bro even made Dak run 😭😭😭😭” another user posted.

Training camp fights are to be expected this time of year in the heat of competition. But when it gets to the point where it’s distracting from what team’s are trying to accomplish coach’s definitely don’t see it as a positive.
Hopefully 2025 is the year the Cowboys show more fight than they have in the past — its going to take every bit of it to end the franchise’s 30-year Super Bowl drought.
