The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers will face off in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs on Sunday. The matchup will pit two of the NFC’s best teams against each other while also reminding fans of classic 1990s regular and postseason matchups. It is, indeed, a rivalry worth renewing. Unfortunately, that renewed feeling has brought out the worst in some radio personalities at 105.3 The Fan in Dallas.

Cowboys Radio Personalities Wish Injury on Christian McCaffrey
On a recent broadcast discussing the upcoming Cowboys and 49ers contest, Cowboys radio personalities for 105.3 The Fan stated that they “could really use an injury” to 49ers star Christian McCaffrey.

Football is a violent sport. Injuries happen. However, to wish an injury on your opponent is nothing short of deplorable.
Christian McCaffrey, as many NFL fans know, has struggled with injuries for almost half of his career. After playing three full seasons, not missing game, for three years, McCaffrey was limited to just 10 games total in 2020 and 2021. This past season, which he split between the Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers, is the first time he has played every game in a regular season since 2019.
Christian McCaffrey This Season
In his first full season since 2019, Christian McCaffrey rushed for 1,139 yards and had 741 reaching yards. He had eight rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns.
This is certainly the kind of production that fans and teams expected from McCaffrey. In the aforementioned 2019 season, he had over 1,300 rushing yards, over 1,000 receiving yards, and 19 total touchdowns.
