The Dallas Cowboys had the top offense in all of football last season, finishing first in yards per game (407.0 ypg) and first in points per game (31.2 ppg). Even though they lost weapons like Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson, the offense led by quarterback Dak Prescott is expected to have another explosive season. The Cowboys QB posted a photo to his Instagram with most of the first-team offense working out together.

This upcoming season is huge for the Cowboys. Dallas has not made the playoffs back-to-back seasons since the 06-07 seasons. That is something they look to accomplish this year. Quarterback/Receiver chemistry is vital for any successful offense. That is why Prescott working out with new draft pick Jalen Tolbert amongst others is great to see. Tolbert is expected to take over for Michael Gallup as he recovers from ACL surgery.
The other name to watch out for is CeeDee Lamb. He is the Cowboys’ new WR1 and he has all the makings of a superstar. Lamb is the breakout player to watch for this year, seeing him and Prescott continuing to build chemistry is awesome. One other player worth mentioning is Dalton Schultz. The Cowboys’ tight end held out of OTA’s and could do the same for training camp. But, it is a good sign to see him working out with the rest of the offense.
Dallas’ offense was inconsistent in the second half of last season, once Prescott came back from his calf injury. If he can stay healthy for this whole upcoming season the sky’s the limit for the Cowboys.

This offense will go as far as Dak can take them. Need Ceedee to become a bonafide #1 in the league and Schultz to continue having production. What’ll set them apart is whether they can get consistent run production. Moore will need to put most of the load on pollard and find spots to use Zeke that doesn’t handicap the offense. McCarthy just needs to stay out of the way
Overall, I’m just so glad that Tony Pollard is going to be used as a slot receiver from now on. And with the new rookie Jalen Tolbert. Who is also a dangerous guy after the catch. In think Dak Prescott will have a new arsenal that will be an upgrade from last year’s offence.
With Tony Pollard, returning punts, kicks, running the ball and playing slot receiver each game. And blending with the rest of the arsenal, will be big in the NFL this year and in the upcoming years ahead.
Yes the defense is young. But it has more talent than last years defense. No matter what the critics say. We are better on paper. And will just need to trust this young unit. Learn from our mistakes and the sky is the limit.
I love what I’m hearing about the wide out TJ Vasher. But just to let you guys know I’m counting on him making the team and earning a number four or five spot as a receiver this year. I feel like if we don’t hire this guy we will have to live with our regrets though.
