The Dallas Cowboys know that Micah Parsons is the next big contract they need to get done. Parsons has had an incredible start to his career and cemented himself as one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
However, contract talks do not seem to be going well. In fact, it’s worse than it has ever been.
“Before The Season” Cowboys’ Horrible Micah Parsons Announcement Sends Fans Into Frenzy

As if things weren’t bad enough for Micah Parsons’ contract situation, Dallas has ingeniously found a way to make it worse:
At a time when contract talks should be progressing, things are reportedly going in the opposite direction according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
On Tuesday the NFL insider appeared on Pat McAfee and shared that the two sides are “further away from a deal in late July, early August than we were in late March, early April.”
Telling the former longtime Colts punter: “The two sides have gone backwards, not forwards. I don’t think they’re speaking very much these days, if at all. This negotiation, when it was a negotiation, has gone sideways. It’s not a negotiation right now. There’s really no conversation about getting a deal done.”
“That could change next week. It could change shortly before the season,” he added. “We’ve seen how long Dallas sometimes waits on some of these deals. See CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott last season.”

Fans were over it on X.
“If I was Micah, I would be asking for a trade and telling Jerry Jones to shove it,” a user said.
“I am 100% starting to believe he plays the final year of his deal and gets franchise tagged next year,” another commented.
“Only dallas man i swear,” a fan replied.
“I’m so glad the [commanders] don’t have terrible ownership anymore,” another person shared. “The cowboys and jets are two of the absolute worst owners in sports.”
“dallas gon fck around N [lose] Parsons !!” another user exclaimed.
“Extremely funny organization,” another fan posted.
“Pay the f—in man you clowns @dallascowboys.”
