The Dallas Cowboys’ team have an extremely close relationship with their owner Jerry Jones. Many think it is more personal than any other team in the National Football League. That being said, Jones likes to leave his stamp on the team.
That was no different when he decided to announce a change coming on offense.

Per Jon Machota of The Athletic:
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on 1053thefan that he thinks Dallas can run its same offense with backup QB Cooper Rush filling in for Dak Prescott.
“I think we can run anything that Dak runs, with him.
On Trey Lance: “Oh, there is a window for Trey Lance. There are packages we can work on. Let me be clear, that’s just not to get Lance some playing time, that’s to bring to the table some offense for us. … He’s a big threat with his legs.”
While Lance hasn’t had many opportunities in the NFL, he lit up the college scene:
