A splashy trade this off-season brought the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the move, they significantly improved their passing game and reduced their reliance on CeeDee Lamb.
A statement Pickens supposedly made about his former team shocked a lot of people. However, he is disputing ever trashing his former organization.
“Straight Lies” Cowboys’ George Pickens Responds To Extreme Controversy

Former Pittsburgh Steeler Pickens made headlines on Mother’s Day for all the wrong reasons – as the new Dallas Cowboys wide receiver appeared to take aim at his old team:
After criticizing the Steelers organization for being “cheap,” the Black and Gold faithful clearly took exception to his comments — and Pickens has responded.
In a recent Instagram story, Pickens denounced Pittsburgh fans for fabricating the news and claimed AI was responsible:
“Literally on a plane. No service. Just landed and seen straight lies from Pitt fans. Stop with AI trying to make a story. I’m happy for everything the Steel City did for me. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there”
While one would like to believe the newest Cowboys wide receiver would take the high road instead of criticizing his former team, Pickens’ history of crash-outs — both on and off the field — speaks volumes far louder than his AI claim.
