The Dallas Cowboys fan base can’t wait for the 2024 regular season to get here. Three straight 12-win seasons failed to result in even an appearance in the NFC Conference Championship game. With CeeDee Lamb getting his massive contract, all eyes have turned to Dak Prescott and when/if he will get paid.
Jerry Jones’ recent comment didn’t exactly inspire his fans.
Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Ripped Over Latest Remark
According to Jon Machota of The Athletic:
What more does Jerry Jones need to see from Dak Prescott?“You could easily say, if you haven’t seen it by now, you haven’t seen it. I’m such a fan of Dak. And I appreciate all of the great things that we all know are there. And I appreciate his work ethic probably more than anything. I can’t tell you how proud I am that we’ve got him this year to start this campaign. … Dak’s situation right now for me has more to do with our situation than it does with the merits of Dak Prescott being the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.”What is Plan B at QB with the Cowboys having no QBs under contract for next season?“I quit a long time ago getting bent out of shape about having anybody under contract or not. There are all kinds of things other than a contract that could change the outcome of him being under contract: injury, level of play. So you can’t just pick that and say that should give you a better feeling about our team or me a better feeling. The whole thing has a lot of moving parts. Now, I can live with that … because we play a game that it can change on the next play.”
Jones’ comments regarding his unwillingness to give details regarding Prescott didn’t exactly sit well with the fan base:
That’s typical Jerry word salad for the most part, but I take a lot from the first paragraph:
“you could easily say if you haven’t seen it by now, you haven’t seen it.”
He can’t get up there and actually say:
“I don’t think he has what it takes to get us to the next level.”

U can frost a cupcake but when the cake is made of sawdust it doesn’t matter how good the frosting is… JMO, Dak is on another team next year or they keep Dak and trade Micah…U can’t have all 3 on the same team…
