The Dallas Cowboys are going through their toughest regular season of recent memory. Their 27-20 loss on Monday Night Football to the Cincinnati Bengals dropped Dallas to 5-8 on the year. The loss all but solidified Dallas missing the post season.
Micah Parsons, however, is not taking the loss well. So much so that he infuriated his own fan base.
“How Can He Do That” Cowboys Fans Ruthlessly Turn On Micah Parsons After On Field Act
After Dallas lost to the Bengals on Monday night, fans are taking aim at Micah Parsons for his “disrespectful act” in the final seconds:
The game was tied 20-20 with just over two minutes remaining when the Cowboys forced a Cincinnati punt at the two-minute warning. Just when it looked like Micah Parsons would will the Cowboys to a thrilling prime-time victory, however, the Dallas special teams crumbled at the worst possible time.
Ryan Rehkow’s punt was blocked, seemingly giving Dallas excellent field position to set up Brandon Aubrey for the game-winning field goal. But Amani Oruwariye of the Cowboys made the mistake of touching the football, allowing the Bengals to recover it and retain possession.
The Cowboys blocks the punt… but it was then touched by a Dallas player… and then recovered by the Bengals 🤯

Joe Burrow would hit Ja’Marr Chase for the go-ahead touchdown on the drive, and the Cincy defense forced a turnover on downs to win the game. Micah Parsons was so upset about the loss that he walked off the field before the clock hit zeroes:

This gesture drew immediate criticism from fans:
“Selfish and unprofessional. The Cowboys have had a frustrating season to say the least, but you need to be able handle defeat with class,” one critical fan said.
“Micah parsons storming off is so unserious,” wrote a fan.
“Not a good look,” said a fan.
“Micah Parsons leaving the field before the game ended or shaking hands with anyone is cry baby behavior. Someone that aspires to be a “leader of the team” cannot do that. Ridiculous,” wrote another.
“He had no tackles today. He’s part of the problem this season!!!,” a fan said.
“I get the frustration but it’s kind of childish,” said another.
“Loose cannon. Trade him to the lions,” a critic said.
“He doesn’t make much of a difference honestly,” claimed another fan.
