The Dallas Cowboys know their fans will have high expectations going into this season. Injuries derailed their 2024 campaign, but three straight seasons of 12 wins directly preceded that. Fans also are keeping in mind that CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott are two of the highest paid athletes in the NFL at their respective positions. Winning feels like a must.
However, fans aren’t too happy with one of their first decisions of the year.
“This Is Horrible” Cowboys Fans Erupt Over Questionable Team Decision

According to the Cowboys’ official website:
The hustle and bustle of the 2025 NFL Draft is officially in the rearview and the Dallas Cowboys will welcome one of the highest-graded hauls to their headquarters at The Star in Frisco with first-round pick Tyler Booker and his nine rookie compatriots, and that means it’s time for each to be assigned a shiny new NFL jersey number.
With rookie minicamp set to take place this weekend, each will be on the field donning their new digs, but there are still some being worked through as Tuesday comes to a close.
That said, three have been assigned their number, namely the first three picks.
- 52 – Tyler Booker (1st round/12th-overall)
- 41- Donovan Ezeiruaku (2nd round/44th-overall)
- 27 – Shavon Revel (3/76th-overall)
