Here is an over view of Prescott’s new contract:
- Duration: 4 years
- $240 million total value
- $60 million is the average annual value (AAV)
- Money guaranteed: $231 million
As part of the deal, one year is added to the four-year, $160 million contract he signed with the Cowboys ahead of free agency in 2021. It binds Prescott to the Cowboys until 2028, when he will be 35 years old.
