The Titans beat the Commanders
These Titans are something else and have been this season. They’ve been ugly, pretty, beautiful, and hideous through 60 minutes of football on any given Sunday or Monday if you count the onslaught against the Bills. We refrain from that as Titans fans. A defense that gives up the big play yet stops the one that wins the game. Story of the titans. The offense that has only scored 14 second-half points this season yet has won 3 in a row. and of course, the same titans who have done little to none to make an impact in the receiving game.
The Commanders haven’t won since kickoff weekend that just simply isn’t good. Their pass rush can make the White House shake but if Carson Wentz can’t change his late-game clutch gene (which doesn’t exist) you know the rest. In a division loaded with talent with every team citing 4 wins the commanders lay on the bottom of the sea losing 4 straight and holding a 1-4 record. Carson Wentz fumbled 3 times and through the worst interception since bc.
Game On
Silence. Yes, the Titans who have come out blazing in the first half had a relatively quiet first quarter as did the commanders. Hillard caught a nice 13 yd TD pass from Tannehill as the Titans hit the scoreboard first. Hillard has caught a handful of TD passes so far this season considering he’s rb2 he may as well be the team’s best wideout right now. Joey Slye books a 50 yder on the following possession to send the game 7-3 Titans into the second quarter.
MASS ATTACK
it seemed as if Tannehill was getting ready to file harassment the Washington pass rush harassed Tannehill for 3 hours straight. He was sacked 5 times and pressured all game. He still played mistake-free football with 181 yds and a TD. His counterpart 359 yds and 2 TDS. However a horrific pick and 3 fumbles
2nd quarter
Before the crazy pass, heavy plays are addressed. Debuting running back Brian Robinson Jr had just 22 yds as the Titans have done a great job of shutting down the run this season. On the opening drive of the 2nd quarter, Washington Receiver Dynami Brown had an incredible catch and claimed his first TD on a 75 yd TD pass putting the commanders ahead 10-7
2nd half trades
The 2nd half started exactly how the first one did. Back-and-forth punts no highlight reels to speak of like the 1st half. Late 3rd quarter Dynami Brown caught a 30 yd TD pass for his second TD of the day
to give them a 17-14 lead. He finished with only 2 Rec but both crucial ones were 105 yds and 2 TDS. The Titans responded with another Henry TD run leaping into the endzone giving the Titans a 21-17 lead.
CRUNCH TIME
The 4th quarter remained a stalemate. The magical sequence of finish resulted in Kristian Fulton committing a heart-wrenching pass interference play giving the Commanders a red zone setup and 4 downs to punch it in for what would be a lead that would most likely seal it.
THE PICK
I’m 3rd and goal Carson Wentz beamed a pass down the middle for J.D Mckissic and With the play of his career to date David long jr bumped in front grabbing a game-winning interception and sealing the Titans win 21-17
Final Takes
The Titan’s defense has been phenomenal in the red zone this season. Clawing down during the most crucial points of the game. King Henry is adjusting every week.

Another week of invisible Receivers. At some point there needs to be an electric shock in the locker room, nobody is playing a consistent 60 minutes
The team needs to put up more second-half points
The commanders can’t catch a break. A core anyone would love to throw to. They can’t close games. Wentz continues to make mistakes
The commanders will head to Chicago on a short week for Thursday night football.
The Titans will rest on a bye week then head home to host the Colts in their final season matchup
