Colts quarterback Matt Ryan is on pace to have his worst season of his 15 year career and when the Indianapolis Colts traded for Matt Ryan back in March they thought it’d be a perfect fit, but heading into week 6 it’s been everything but that.
Through five games this season the Colts quarterback has been a turnover machine. He’s currently in a tie with Rams Super Bowl winning quarterback Matt Stafford for the most interceptions thrown this season with 7 and also has 11 fumbles with only 3 of them being lost. If Ryan continues this pace he will not only break, but shatter the fumble record which currently sits at 23 and is owned by Daunte Culpepper and Kerry Collins.
Now with all that being said he has still led the Indianapolis Colts to a .500 record through five weeks sitting at 2-2-1 by collecting wins over the top rated Kansas City Chiefs and the overrated Denver Broncos, but if he wants to continue that he’ll have to clean up the turnovers or the Colts will continue to lose to teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans.
Luckily for the Colts quarterback they are home this week against the Jaguars where Matt Ryan can make up for his abysmal 3 interceptions and fumble game from week 2 when he and the team were shut out 24-0 in Jacksonville.
