The Indianapolis Colts’ Super Bowl XLI Championship will forever be remembered within their franchise. Tony Dungy was the head coach of the team that took down the Chicago Bears and clinched Indianapolis’ first (and only) Super Bowl.
Dungy has also become quite infamous in his post coaching days as well. NBC’s Football Night in America has featured Dungy as an analyst. He is also the national spokesperson for the fatherhood program All Pro Dad. In 2016, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
However, it was his political views that caught fans attention on Thursday Afternoon.
Former Colts Legend Tony Dungy Takes Direct Shot At Kamala Harris (Report)
Vice President Kamala Harris posted this to her Twitter (X) page:One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree: The government, and certainly Donald Trump, should not be telling a woman what to do with her body.
This is how Tony Dungy responded:
Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time. Exactly what “faith” are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion?
Are you talking about the Christian faith that says all babies are made in the image of God (Gen 1:26), that God places them in the womb (Jer 1:5) and that we should not take any life unjustly (Luke 18:20)?
Are you talking about that faith or some nebulous, general “faith” that says we’re good enough, and smart enough to make our own decisions? What “faith” are you talking about?
Fans were taken back by Dungy’s post:
@TonyDungy I love what you stand for coach. But how do you support someone like Trump? I have never seen post from you criticizing him.

If you believe there’s a higher power, then you should let said power punish the wicked. Man should not tell women what to do with their body regardless of what your personal believes are. Women have come far for them to take a step back now.
